What are the five question fields (5Qs): “What”, “When”, “Where”, “How many” “For how much”? top

Each of the 5 search fields are different aspects of your needs. It is recommended that you specify them, because then it is easier to find you, or it is easier for you to find someone. So if you think about a need, you can come up with the answers for what, when, where, how many and for how much. Simply put them into the corresponding fields and that’s it. You don’t have to fill out all 5Qs. These are all optional but keep in mind that the more you specify it, the more specific results you will get. But don’t go overboard and specify too much because will narrow the search results.

So how do you find the one!

You don’t have to create an online identity. Simply go to NeedCube and look for the service that you have to offer. There are premium features you get when you register but this is detailed later on.

How do I start?

You simply start it by searching the web with NeedCube like you would search in Google.

How to use the “search engine” in NeedCube?

The search engine is based on drill-down search concept. You start with the main keyword, the main concept and you further specify it with additional queries. When you start with a keyword and press

, you start to query the database for that given keyword. As a result (if there is a result) you can see 3 from the 5Qs. You will be shown the “What”, “When”, “Where”.

This means that you will be given all the results that contain your given keyword. If you want to specify it further down, simply click on any of the given keywords in the 3Qs, be it “What”, “When” or “Where”. As a result of this you will see a more filtered list based on these to search criterias. If you want to specify it even further down, click on another one of the 3Qs.

Let’s go through some scenarios

Love:

Let’s assume you (as a male) have broken up, and ready to find your true love (female), but you are tired of all the dating sites, where you have to register one by one and none of them really serves your needs. So you start using NeedCube because you know it is the gateway to your needs. You want to find someone who is looking for you, so you start searching the database with the keyword, “male”. You will be given a group of people. You see that there are females in New York and you live there, so it would be the perfect one for you. In this case you click on “New York” in the “When” cloud.

This way you will find all the females in New York looking for a male. You can also start the search process with several keywords. For example: male, easy going, spiritual. You’re going to have an end result based on the ones who are looking for an easy going, spiritual male.

Job:

Let’s assume you run a company and you are in a need of a new Oracle developer. You know there are thousands of job agencies that you tell you needs and they try to find the right candidate for you. However you are fed up with paying a lot of commission and more often than not, they send you the candidates that are not the right ones for you. So you know that NeedCube can help you. You begin with search the database with the keyword: “Oracle developer”. As a result, you will get a list of people who are Oracle developers. You further specify it by clicking on the “Boston” in the “Where” cloud.

Car:

Let’s assume you are ready to buy a new car, and would like to sell your old Camaro. You have been unsuccessful doing it on hundreds of ad sites, so you have finally found NeedCube and start using it. You are happy to start using our search engine by putting the keyword “Camaro” into the search field. As a result you will get all the people who need a Camaro. Let’s assume you are ready to sell your condo in New York city and you are fed up with all the advertising sites where you have to register one by one and start putting your ad. You start search the database with specifying the keyword “condo”. You end up with a list. You drill down to a narrower end result by clicking on “New York” in the “Where” cloud.

Can I be notified about new needs that might match my offers / services (i.e. my condo)!

Yes. For this to work, you have to create a profile and sign up for notification with a keyword. Our system will send you a daily digest email with all the new needs that contain your keywords.

What is the policy for offering to people?

The quality of this service very much depends on the people who use it. Please keep in mind that you should only approach people who REALLY look for the things you have to offer. Do not SPAM them; do not hassle with them about your offers and services.

The old saying: “Customer is king” this is even more important in this kind of service approach. Imagine you being offered unimportant services or the ones you don’t need. You would not be happy.
